my first impressions:
I picked this picture because it looks interesting because it has a lot of symbols and color in it. Also at the right side there is someones arm and i am interested in what or who's it is.
what I have learned:
this is a picture of King Nebhepetre Mentuhotep. He was honored by the Egyptians because he remade Egypt after an era of chaos and instability. This piece came from his mortuary temple in Deir el-Bahri. The person on the right side was a goddess but was destroyed in the Amarna Period
